SMS Messaging Policy

For your reference, when you contact us through our text messaging features via provided telephone numbers (as listed in our website “Contact Us”) via SMS messaging, we use a third-party service application (GoToConnect).  Your contact information is automatically collected and stored, including:

  • Your mobile phone number
  • The content of your SMS message

We only use this information directly related to your inquiry as necessary for us to respond.  We do not use this data as part of any direct campaigns or automated contact processes. Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply.

Your Consent for SMS messaging

By contacting us via SMS, you consent to this privacy policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please refrain from using SMS as a means of communication or use the SMS opt-out option below.

How Your Information is Used

The information you provide via SMS is used solely for the purpose of:

  • Responding to your inquiry
  • Confirming your appointment times or making appropriate changes
  • Submitting refill requests or changing your pharmacy information
  • Answering questions about upcoming events or programs
  • Providing information requested on processes related to registration
  • Answering an inquiry about a service related to operations

”“ Hi Mary. This is Sandy at OnPoint Behavioral Health. I’m sorry that you were not able to join the link for your telehealth visit today. SMS Opt-In Option

OnPoint Behavioral Health does not coordinate any campaigns to reach out to you via SMS and will only send SMS messages as needed for quick answers and responses between patients and clients of OnPoint Behavioral Health.  

Note: At this time, there are only two ways you will be opted-in:

  1. If you provide your telephone number by any other method (filling out paper or on-line forms, email, phone call) we may contact you for the purpose of providing a requested service.
  2. The first time an employee contacts you via SMS message using the office telephone system (via GoToConnect), you will automatically receive the following message:
    “You are currently opted-in to receive SMS messages from OnPoint Behavioral Health.  We respect your privacy as explained in our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions found https://www.onpointcare.net  Msg & Data rates may apply. Msg Freq Varies. Reply HELP for support.  Reply STOP to opt-out.”

Help

By texting “Help” to any SMS messages received from a OnPoint phone number, you will receive the following message:

“Thank you for reaching out to OnPoint Behavioral Health. Please call us at +1 (813) 803-2999 or email us at info@onpointcare.net for support. Reply STOP to opt out.

SMS Opt-Out Option

If you would like to stop receiving SMS responses from us, please reply “STOP” to one of our SMS messages at any time. You will receive the following message:

“You have successfully opted out from OnPoint Behavioral Health SMS Communications and will no longer receive text messages from us via the GoTo connect application. To opt back in, reply START to any message.”

We will process your request promptly and discontinue SMS communication with you.

Note: This policy applies only to SMS communications via OnPoint’s phone numbers (as listed online on our “Contact Us” webpage)–which uses the GoToConnect application.   In the event an OnPoint’s employee communicates with you by personal cell phone and you prefer to not communicate with any one OnPoint’s employee using personal cell phones, please notify the sender personally of your preferences.
